Owls are fascinating nocturnal birds of prey found throughout North America. Typified by an upright stance, a large, broad head, binocular vision, binaural hearing, sharp talons, and feathers adapted for silent flight. Owls have adapted to nearly every ecosystem on the planet. A group of owls are called a parliament.  People consider owls symbols of wisdom and knowledge, due to the endless owl mythology and folklore references. Owl symbolism can also mean transition and time.
