Burrowing Owl Head

The Burrowing Owl is a small owl that lives in holes in the ground in North and South America. It has brown spots on its feathers, a flat face, and long legs. It eats insects, small rodents, and other animals, and it nods its head when it is awake. This owl is in danger because of humans destroying its home, using chemicals, and building cities. People who want to help this owl try to protect its nests and make new holes for it to live in.
