Lewis Woodpecker

The Lewis Woodpecker, one of the largest and oldest of its species, is renowned for its skill in catching flying insects. It was famously noted during the historic Lewis and Clark Expedition and named after its co-leader. Unfortunately, its population has dropped in recent years.
