Grey Crowned Crane

The Grey Crowned Crane, also known as the African crowned crane, stands at a height of 91 cm and weighs approximately 3.6 kg. These birds typically travel in singles, pairs, or flocks and prefer wetlands, flooded grasslands, and other habitats with access to water. When foraging for food, they utilize their 'foot-stamping' technique to unearth insects along the ground.
