Green Breasted Mango Hummingbird

Our most popular image! This species is widespread, breeding from Mexico to Costa Rica. In 1988, the first green-breasted mango was documented in Texas. Males of this species have a bright green plumage, while females display a bronze-green plumage. They can be located near open areas containing prominent trees.
