American Kestrel

One of the smallest falcons in North America is the American kestrel, also known as the sparrow hawk. It lives across the continent and feeds on various prey, such as bugs, worms, mice, and smaller birds. It usually hunts by sitting on high places or flying in place with its wings and tail moving to keep balance.
