African Elephant 2

Approximately 8% of African elephants were poached in 2011 due to the demand for ivory, contributing to a drastic decline in population from 1.3 million in 1979 to just 472,000 in 2012. This decline was further exacerbated by the loss of habitat due to human encroachment. To assist in preserving the African Elephant from extinction, Gene's Pen & Ink will donate 10% of all sales of endangered species like the African Elephant to the World Wildlife Fund.
