What a flurry of activities have been occurring at our cabin in the past week. We have had 10-15 hummingbirds at any one time stopping by for refreshments as they are migrating to new territories. They are spending several days here, hovering, and jockeying for their positions at the multiple feeders we provide. Friends were visiting us, and one of them took some detailed pictures. What a joy to sit on the patio and gaze at these industrious little birds!! It is no wonder Gene likes to paint them.
